As we reach the final days of the year, I’ve been taking a moment to reflect on what has been a truly special year for Sister Paper Co. Yesterday marked the winter solstice, the shortest day and the longest night. It’s a time traditionally associated with rest, reflection and renewal. From here, the light slowly begins to return, and with it comes fresh energy, creativity and intention. What a perfect moment to reflect on 2025 and look ahead to the new year.
2025 has been shaped by creativity, collaboration and some of our most loved designs to date.
One of my highlights of the year was launching fresh, new shaped greeting cards. These sculptural designs quickly became favourites and it has been such a joy to see how warmly you have welcomed (and sent!) them. Cards like Ripe Bananas Birthday Card, Tini Bit Older and Wild Ride Love Card have been among the greeting cards you returned to again and again, chosen to mark meaningful moments and thoughtful celebrations.
Throughout 2025, I focused on growing my family of stockists. We partnered with even more like minded retailers, which means you can now find Sister Paper Co cards in more beautiful stores than ever before. Seeing our designs on shelves alongside other thoughtfully curated products never gets old, and I am so grateful to work with businesses who share our values around sustainability, craftsmanship and storytelling.
This year was also a proud one for me personally, as I attended the Henries Awards (think the Oscars for greeting cards) and saw our Valentine’s card collection shortlisted in the Best Spring Seasons category. Moments like this are a reminder of how far Sister Paper Co has come and why I started this brand in the first place.
Looking ahead to 2026, I could not be more excited. To welcome the new year, I am launching two brand new greeting card ranges alongside coordinating gift wrap sheets. These collections feature moody, atmospheric hand painted illustrations and rich, warming colour palettes. They feel like a natural evolution of our aesthetic and I cannot wait for you to explore them.
And now for the most exciting news yet. In early 2026, I will be launching our very first notebooks and planners. Thoughtfully designed, sustainably produced and finished with our signature magical artwork, these new stationery styles open an entirely new chapter for Sister Paper Co. They are designed to be used, treasured and returned to throughout the year.
Looking back, 2025 truly was a whirlwind of creativity and growth. Your support has meant more to me than I can say, and it is with that same energy that I step into 2026. Expect new formats, new shapes and even more beautifully crafted paper goods as the year unfolds.
